B . Prabha

She was a major Indian artist who worked mostly in oil paintings. She started her work when India had only a few women artists. She was born on 1933 in Maharashtra. She received diploma from Sir J.J. School Of Art. Her husband B. Vithal is also an artist and sculptor. She received All India Fine Arts and Craft Society Awards. She passed away on 2001 in Nagpur at the age of  68.
