1.) FORTIFICATION - SALT

Fortification of food is the adding of micronutrients to the food to enrich it. Salt is used in fortification of food.

2.) BULK PURCHASE - PERISHABILITY

Before you make bulk purchases, you must consider the perishability of the goods. Highly perishable goods should not be purchased in bulk unless we have a way of keeping them fresh. Eg. Flowers cannot be pink bulk unless they will be used the same day or there is a proper way of storage.

3.) FOOD STORAGE - TEMPERATURE

Some food storage require low temperatures whereas others require normal or room temperature. So temperature is an important factor to consider in food storage. Storage of perishable foods like milk will require very low temperatures.

4.) FOOD QUALITY - FOOD STANDARDS

The food standard will determine the quality of food produced. For instance if the food standard in a hotel is high then the expectation is that the quality of the food is high.

5.) RISK FACTORS - PREGNANCY

There are risk factors associated with pregnancy such high blood pressure.
