Indigenous knowledge is an integral part of the culture and history of any context. As such, all sectors of society should learn from local communities in our efforts to enrich the development process in Africa. In order to successfully enrich the development process in Africa, it is imperative to actively address the unfair competition between traditional norms and values versus western/modern value systems. The latter is said to be compromising on the development of Africa. Assess the value of this statement in the African context.
