Indiscriminate cutting of forests in the cities for obtaining land for industrial and residential purposes is aggravating the consequences of air pollution. Why is it so? What should be done to check this practice?​

Answer:

as trees intake CO2 and give out oxygen so there are less number of trees so the amount of polluted air in the atmosphere is more and no natural air purifier is there so there is more air pollution

Because trees absorb most of the carbon dioxide and unhealthy air from the Atmosphere. If trees would cut down the carbondioxide rate will become more. Hence leading in the air pollution.
