Indiscriminate use of plastics is a serious threat to biodiversity.what are the efforts of government and non government organizations in this regard?

government banned all plastic- made
we can see polythene everywhere.
in India government started swach bharat which says yes to plants and which also includes no plastic. government is trying to spread awareness of harmful uses of plastic.
and these days we can see nongovernmental organizations which are making poster saying NO to plastics..these are the efforts made by our generations!
