Induced emf would be there only for that much duration for which MAGNETIC FLUX linked with circuit is CHANGED.

The general expression for induced EMF linked with a circuit is given as follows:

 \boxed{ \bold{ \large{EMF =  \dfrac{d \phi}{dt} }}}

As per Faraday's Law of Electromagnetic Induction , " the induced EMF is directly proportional to the instantaneous rate of change of magnetic flux with respect to time "

Here d\phi refers to change in magnetic flux and dt refers to time interval for which the flux changes.

  • Hence , if the magnetic flux remains constant with respect to time , the induced EMF in the coil will.be zero.
