Auxins which are released in the plant body helps to induce growth in plants.  These hormones are secreted inside the plants body and are the growth hormones.

It moves to the darker side of the plant causing them to grow more rather than staying at the lighter part.

These hormones helps in the overall growth of the plants. It helps in cell elongation and are produced at the stem tip.
