In chemistry , the term chemically inert is used to describe a substance that is not chemically reactive . Most group 8 and 18 elements that appear in the last column of the periodic table ( Helium , Neon , Argon , Krypton , Xenon , Radon ) as classified as inert (or un reactive)

inert elements are also called noble gases. inert elements are those elements does not share pair their electrons with another element. these type of element have completed electronic configuration. these are the elements those does not react with other elements. for example : Argon, helium, krypton.
