It is true that 'Inflation is unjust and inequitable' because, with the rise in the price of the commodity, the wages or salaries of the people don't rise. This creates a problem for people with low incomes or middle-class families in dealing with the rise in price.

The rich don't get affected by it as their income always is sufficient and they don't have to struggle for every little thing in daily life.

That is why inflation is unjust and unfair as it only affects the poor or middle-class families and the rich remain unaffected.

"Inflation is unjust and inequitable":

  • Inflation is the rise in the price of goods and services from a specific base year. It affects the poor people the most as it is unjust and inequitable.
  • The rise in the price of basic commodities is easily afforded by the rich income group people but the poor people are most affected by it due to which it is unjust and inequitable.
  • Also, the income of a person if not increased at the same rate as the inflation rate, the low-income group people try to avoid buying goods such as fruits and milk which affect the nutritional quality of the meal as well.
