- Technological advancement has improved our lifestyle, made our lives simpler with the invention of many machines and gadgets.
- But, the children and youth of today misuse theses gadgets and waste precious time.
- Children have become couch potatoes: watching cartoons, serials and television shows while eating junk food.
- They prefer playing computer games to playing outdoors; this sedentary lifestyle causes many diseases like diabetes and obesity.
- Children continuously text messages using their mobile phones, play games on it, surf the net or chat with friends on social networking sites.
- They get distracted from their studies and other work due to this addiction.
- There are many safety and security issues in using the internet which the young innocent children are not aware of.
- Judicious use of technology is helpful, its abuse and overuse creates many problems
