Answer:

A covalent bond is a chemical bond that involves the sharing of electron pairs between atoms. These electron pairs are known as shared pairs or bonding pairs, and the stable balance of attractive and repulsive forces between atoms, when they share electrons, is known as covalent bonding.

Answer:

Covalent bonding is a type of chemical bonding. It is done by sharing an electron with another atom. Example, hydrogen (H) has only one electron, and atom is most likely to get stabalized when there are two electrons in the first energy level. As the hydrogen atom isn't stable, it shares it's electron with an other atom with the same condition (having an electron deficiency). The hydrogen atom might find a bond with the following atoms; hydrogen (H)  itself, chlorine (Cl), carbon (C), etc.
