Paleolithic age
the early man used sharp edged stones to make his tools and weapons.they used the flint stone(a hard grey colour stone).it could be easily choped or shaped.this stone was used to make knives, choppers, hand axes and flake implements.they used these to fell trees, kill animals.remove animal skin and dig the earth.
Neolithic age
tools and weapons of even the neolithic man were still made of stone.but these were far better than earlier ones.these were sharper.man learnt to polish his tools and weapons.he also provided wooden handles to these.
