Thallophyta
- They do not have well-differentiated body design.
- plants in this group are commonly known as algae.
- these are aquatic.
- example- spirogyra,ulva etc,.
Bryophyta
- This are also called as amphibians of the plant kingdom.
- True vascular system is absent.
- body is differentiated into stem and leaf-like structures.
- They live in soil but are dependent on water for sexual reproduction.
- examples- Liverworts and mosses.
pteridophyta
- they are the first land plants having vascular tissues.
- differentiated into roots, stems and have specialised tissue for conduction.
- they are also called as vascular cryptogams.
- they do not bear flowers.
- they do not even produce seeds.
