Pollutants are harmful substances which cause pollution in the Environment.Pollution is something that causes harmful effects in the environment.Like air pollution causes Ozone layer depletion ,Global warming,etc.If a river or any water body is polluted then it causes harmful diseases to animals who would either drink that water or bathe in that water as well as villagers.

Pollution of all kind is on the rise.whether it is air pollution , noise pollution or water pollution , none of the kind is spared, the main cause understood for all kinds of pollution is the population explosion.
