multiple purposes projects have advantages and disadvantages too. one of the multiple purpose project is dams.dams provide irrigation facility for farmers.and the most important they will help in generating electricity. now disadvantages of dams are they will effect the natural flow of river and the most dangerous disadvantage is they will disturb the local people because government wants land for constructing dams. so they will effect the local people
