API refers to Cloud Application Programming Interface. It is existing due to the ability of increasing cloud experience and considerable level of compatibility across different clouds. Infrastructure APIs help control of distribution of particular cloud services like instant provisioning and de-commissioning of cloud resources easier. Platform as a Service APIs are used to provision back - end architecture. They are used to provision access and functionality for cloud environment.
