Initially as the angle of incidence increases gradually the angle of deviation decreases but after certain minimum value of incident angle increases with the increase in the angle of deviation due to the following reasons:

- If we gradually increase the angle of incidence the angle of deviation first decreases array of light passing through the prism course in this process there is a variation in angle of deviation with the angle of incidence.

- The angle of low deviation is more than the angle of deviation for the given incident angle then at a certain minimum value the angle of deviation increases with the increase in angle of incidence.

- The minimum value at which the angle of deviation increases with the increase in angle of incidence is 90 degree that is right angle .
