Let n=18 s
S1= ½a.n²
S2=½a.(n-1)²
So, the distance covered in 18th second
= S1 - S2
= ½a[n²-(n-1)²]
=½a(2n-1)......(1)
Putting a= 5m/s² and n =18 s we get
½×5m/s²×35 s²
½ × 175 m
87.5 m
