We can convert 2.1 an 2.2 into following fractions

$2.1 \: = \: \frac{21}{10} \: 2.2 \: = \frac{22}{10}$

Now we can use expansion method

We can convert 21 / 10 and 22 / 10 into

$\frac{21 \times 10}{10 \times 10 \: } and \: \frac{22 \times 10}{10 \times 10}$

Rational numbers will be –

$\frac{221}{100} \frac{222}{100} \frac{223}{ \:100} and \: so \: on \: till \: \frac{220}{100}$
