1. Convert the fractions to decimals.
2. Find other decimal numbers that lie between them.
3. Convert those numbers back to fraction.
3/4= 0.75
1=1.00

4 numbers between them: 0.77, 0.79, 0.83, 0.89.
== 77/100, 79/100, 83/100, 89/100

I purposely chose prime numbers(or numbers co-prime with 100) for numerator so that you don't have to worry about getting them back to standard form.

For your particular question, just add 1 to both numerator and denominator. the resulting numbers will be larger than 3/4 but will never reach 1 and you can get infinite numbers between them.
like: 4/5, 5/6, 6/7, 7/8...

yasshurohi: it's such a helpful answer that my doubt was cleared now.........., thank you brother
