Heya !!!

To insert 4 rational numbers between -5/8 and -4/7

Let's first take the L.C.M of 7 and 8 we get 56

So,

 -  \frac{5}{8}  \times  \frac{7}{7}  =   - \frac{ 35}{56}  \\  \\  -  \frac{4}{7}  \times  \frac{8}{8}  =  -  \frac{32}{56}

Now, multiplying 2/2 to both we get,

 -  \frac{35}{56}  \times  \frac{2}{2}  =  -  \frac{70}{112}  \\  \\  -  \frac{32}{56}  \times  \frac{2}{2}  =   - \frac{64}{112}

So,

the 4 rational numbers can be

 -  \frac{69}{112}  :  -  \frac{68}{112}  :  -  \frac{67}{112}  :  -  \frac{66}{112}  \\

Or anything between -70/112 and -64/112

Hope this helps ☺
