Step-by-step explanation:

x=-1/4

|x| =  |-1/4| = 1/4

Rational number b/w x and  |x|

= 1/4 and -1/4

Only 1 number can be inserted, find their equivalent fractions.

Add the same no. to the numerator and denominator.

To  insert 5 numbers multiply it with 6.

= 1x6/4x6 and -1x6/4x6

= 6/24 and -6/24

∴ Rational no. b/w 6/24 and -6/24 = -5/25, -4/24, -3/24, -2/24, -1/6, 0/6

                                                                      OR

                                                        = 0/24, 1/24, 2/24, 3/24, 4/24, 5/24

        Hope it helps you. Take care.
