INSTRUCTIONS:
*Your pizza box project should contain 2 parts one for the top
and one for the bottom. You can either use an empty box or
design something similar.
Bottom:
The bottom part of your pizza box should include a pizza with
different toppings made of different pieces of coloured paper
clay or thick thermocol.
The pizza should be divided into at least 8 pieces (but can be
more).
* You should represent at least 5 different fractions using different
toppings for
your pizza. (Ex. 8/8 of the pizza is cheese, 2/8 has onions,3/8
has tomatoes...).
The fractions should be represented clearly.
Your pizza pieces should be equal (they don't have to be
perfect, but very close to
equal amounts).
Тор:
The inside top of your pizza box should include: A “key” that
represents each one of the different fractions of your pizza and
the toppings that are included in those fractions. Write your
fraction with your denominator equal to the total number of
slices. Then, reduce the fractions if needed. (Ex. Onions: 2/4 =
1/2).
Next to each of the 5 different fractions, you must write 2
equivalent fractions to that one.
