QUESTION :

Integrate the following :-

\int_{}( {y}^{2} - 2)dy

SOLUTION :

\int_{}( {y}^{2} - 2)dy

\int_{}{y}^{2} \: dy- \int_{}2 \: dy

 \dfrac{ {y}^{(2 + 1)} }{2 + 1} - 2y + c

Where c is constant.

 \dfrac{ {y}^{3} }{3} - 2y + c

ANSWER :

 \dfrac{ {y}^{3} }{3} - 2y + c
