Intensive subsistence agriculture is that type of farming where a farmer cultivates a small
plot of land using simple tools and large amounts of labour. They practice intensive
methods of cultivation, like using manure and artificial irrigation and better quality seeds,
to get maximum yield from the land. It is usually possible to grow more than one crop in
the same plot.
What is your opinion of the value a farmer of intensive subsistence agriculture has in
them? Mention at least three values.

Answer:

Intensive agriculture, also known as intensive farming (as opposed to extensive farming), conventional, or industrial agriculture, is a type of agriculture, both of crop plants and of animals, with higher levels of input and output per unit of agricultural land area. It is characterized by a low fallow ratio, higher use of inputs such as capital and labour, and higher crop yields per unit land area.[1]
