♻️ Internal Resistance of a cell depends upon ,

  • The Surface Area of its electrodes .

  • Separation between it's electrodes .

  • Nature, Concentration and temperature of Electrolyte .

  • Larger the separation between the electrodes of the cell, more the length of electrolyte through which current has to flow and consequently a higher value of internal resistance .

  • On increasing temperature, in Electrolytes, there is increase in thermally generated electrons over the existing Ion's, so the internal resistance will decrease with the increase of temperature .
