Survey on Marriage Rituals in Jadavpur

Jadavpur, January 30, 2020: This is the season of 'Shadi', so our organisation organised a survey on this. Yesterday, I have visited five families in my locality to know about their rituals on marriage.

                     As they all are Hindu, their rituals are almost same. These rituals includes 'Kanyadan', 'Saptapadi', 'Pheras', 'Panigraha'. These are like universal rituals. Other than these, some rituals like mehendi, sangeeet, time of bride-groom's arrival etc varies.
