                               Interview with a cricketer

Interviewer: We are honored to have amidst us none other than Mr. Dhoni, the most successful cricketer in the Indian cricket history. Welcome Mahi to this interview.

Dhoni: Thanks for all the praise. Actually I stand no where in comparison to great cricket legends such as Tendulkar, Gavasakar sir, Kapil Dev sir, Ravi Shastri, and many more!

Interviewer: Our viewers are curious to know many things about you from you. The first thing I want ask for the viewers is when did you actually feel you wanted to become a cricketer?

Dhoni: Actually I never ever wanted to become a cricketer; football was my passion. However, as I got an opportunity to play cricket, I liked  it immensely; then there was no turning back.

Interviewer: Did you find any challenges initially?

Dhoni: Many! Challenges make us tough and strong. The more the challenges, the more the strength! I had to face many challenges on many fronts. Financial, academic, discouragement from people and circumstances; but there was a power that also helped me a lot. I would not be here if that help were not there.

Interviewer: Who was your ideal?

Dhoni: Well, there are many senior cricketers whom I loved watching. Shrikant sir, Gawaskar sir, Kapil sir, and then Tendulkar inspired me a lot.

Interviewer: Now, the last question! What is the secret behind your success?

Dhoni: My mother, family, hard-work, practice and all the friends and mentors who helped me in my tough times.

Interviewer: Thanks a lot Mr. Dhoni for sparing your precious time for all of us!
