A desert is a place which covers miles and miles of sand or rocky terrains with very little variety of flora and fauna. It is without much life, much colour and much diversity. Similarly, habits which are based on superstitions and disbelief are like the lifeless vast stretches of sand- barren, unproductive and dreary. Those habits do not enrich our mind and our lives.
