Hey dear !!

Here is your answer !!
____________________________________

♦♦ Given ->

2/(x+y) - 1/(x-y)=11

5/(x+y) + 4/(x-y) =8

♦♦ Solution ->

Let 1/x+y=p ,1/x-y=q

Now,

2p-1q=11

5p+4q=8

By elimination method

5(2p-q =11) , 2(5p+4q=8)

Subtracting both equations

10p-5q=55

10p+8q=16

We will get

-13q=39

q=-39/13

q=-3

____________________________________

Now put value of q in

2p-q=11

2p-(-3)=11

2p=11-3

2p=9

p=9/2

_____________________________________

Put values of p & q

1/x+y=p , 1/x-y=q

1/x+y=9/2 , 1/x-y=-3

By cross multiplying we get

x+y=9/2 , x-y=-3

By subtracting both equations we get

2y=15/2

y=15/4

Put value of y in

x-y=-3

x-(15/4)=-3

x=-3+15/4

x=3/4

Hence p=9/2 , q=-3 , y=15/4 , x=3/4

Hope it is satisfactory :-)
