freedom and discipline are essential for the proper fullest development of a child. It is to be noted that freedom and discipline are both based on two ancient philosophical doctrines. Freedom is based on naturalism while Idealism is the foundation of discipline. In the same way freedom upholds heredity and discipline advocates environment. What is needed is a synthesis of two different concept.
