The story India's Heroes deals with the lives of those many bravehearts who sacrificed their lives so that we can have a better future. These people had influenced Kabeer and have been role models to him which makes them true heroes.
This story basically tells us about the people who had face the terrorist bravely on 26th November, 2008.
The story starts of with the class teacher of 8A of an unknown school, entering the class and finding that the given assignment (on the ambitions of each student) hadn't been a failure. Most children talk about their role models, who happen to be celebrities, but, the speech of Kabir leaves the class startled. Kabir speaks of many grat heroes as his role models which leaves the whole class in tears and applause.
