Dear Dr. Agarwal,

Let me proudly introduce our institution to you as a service oriented institution to bring up the rural belt of our country and we have a mix of students from nearer states too and we are having courses of all fields in under graduation as well as post graduation level. We are offering research projects also in certain subjects and our students are really doing well.

With this backdrop, let me take pleasure in inviting you to be the Chief guest for the conference on 'Economics, commerce and Management - current trends' we are going to organise during the last week of February 2014 for two days and it will be a pleasure to us if you come for a valedictory speech on the importance and feature of shares and stocks in our country which may help our students to get into the field and upgrade the knowledge in this area. We are happy to tell you that we have received a good number of conference papers on the theme of conference and there are good number of participants from colleges around.

It will be a pleasure to us if you send your concern on or before 20.2.2014 so as to enable us to make arrangements for your presence on the day of conference. It will be value addition to the students in this rural area.

With regards,

Yours sincerely

(Dr. Sharma)
Principal

NB: There are many instances to invite for the conference as a resource person or chief guest for inaugural session or invited speakers for the conference. There are different kind of functions too and hence the format may be used according to different situations.
