HEY...

DO U KNOW THE CONFIGURATIONS OF CHLORINE AND POTASSIUM....

Cl (2,8,7)
K(2,8,8,1)

AND WHEN CL ACCEPTS ONE ELECTRON IT CONTAINS MORE ELECTRONS THAN PROTONS ...

THUS

IT BECOMES ELECTRO NEGETIVE I.E. CL-1

AND WHEN K GIVES 1 ELECTRON THEN NO. OF PROTONS BECOME MORE THAN ELECTRONS....

THUS ....

IT BECOMES ELECTRO POSITIVE I.E. K+1

SO THERE CONFIGURATIONS NOW BECOME

Cl-1 (2,8,8)
K+1 (2,8,8)

THUS CHLORINE GETS MORE SIZE THAN POTASSIUM BECAUSE IT ACCEPTS ONE ELECTRON.......

HOPE IT WILL HELP U MATE ☺❤☺

PLZ MARK AS BRAINLIEST ❤☺❤
