Explanation:

An iron grill is painted frequently to prevent its rusting. (b) There is less corrosion of aluminium than iron when both are exposed to air because aluminium forms a layer of aluminium oxide on its surface as soon as it comes in contact with moist air

Answer:

Iron grills react with certain gases in the air  to form oxides. This leads to rusting of the grills.if the grills are rusted then they  become weak in nature and cant hold the structures that they hold properly

hence sometimes we see that old materials of iron which is rusted tend to break

rusted iron is also dangerous when it hurts any part of our body

hence in order to prevent all this grills are painted

after painting, iron articles dont rust easily
