Here is your answer :- Iron is quite reactive metal, it easily combines with other metals. Iron thus occurs in nature in the form of its compounds and not as a free element.

Hope this helps you : )

Answer:

Iron (Fe) is a reactive metal . It react with the atmospheric oxygen to form oxide and thus it is mostly found in oxide form. Gold and silver are less reactive metals so they are found in free state in nature but iron is reactive in comparison to gold and silver, thus it is nor found in free state.
