iron nail is put in to a beaker containing copper sulphatesolution ,the blue colour of the solution slowly change in to green

When we put the iron nail i. beaker then the solution of blue colour is change because.. ..
iron is more reactive than copper and it displace from copper from copper sulphate solu.

 Copper sulphate solution is blue and acquires a sea-green colour when an iron nail or iron particles is dropped into it.   This is because iron sulphate is formed when copper sulphate reacts with iron :  Copper sulphate + iron-------> iron sulphate + copper
