Iron nail shrinks in water while steamer made of iron floats on water. Give reason.

the steamer floats but iron nail sinks because in case of iron nail density is greater than water so the upthrust is less as a result it sints but in case of steamer there is a hollow space in it contains air which makes its volume large and average density less than the water so the upthrust is more.
