When Iron nail (Fe) kept in Copper sulphate (CuSO4) there takes reaction between them. As Iron is more reactive than Copper it can replace Copper from CuSO4. CuSO4 is in blue Colour and FeSO4 is in light green colour. So, there will be change in the composition and colour of the solution (from blue to light green).

The colour of copper sulphate solution first is blue

When Iron is dropped in copper sulphate solution!

A brown film of copper get deposit on the nail!

And the colour of solution becomes green!

The iron becomes reddish-brown. This is because a layer of copper gets deposited over the surface of the iron nail. Iron is more reactive than copper, so, it displaces copper from the solution of copper sulphate and the colour of the solution slowly changes from blue to green due to formation of iron sulphate.

it can be also explained in this equation!

Fe + CuSO4 -> Fe2SO4 + Cu
