Here x=3 and y=-2 (Given)
Substituting it in the equation x-y=1
we get (3)-(-2) which is equal to 3+2=5.
Therefore (3,-2) is not a solution for the equation x-y=1.
Hope it helps and pls mark as the best answer. :-)

3,-2

x-y =1

Let x=3 y =-2

Substituting the values in the eqtn. x-y =1

We get ,

(3)-(-2)=1

Which implies , 3+2= 5

5 is not equal to 1 .

Therefore (3,-2) is not a solution of the linear eqtn. x-y =1 .

Hope it helped :)
