Answer:

Let √444 be rational for instance

•. • √444 = a/b where a and b are co primes

Squaring both sides

444= a²/b²

444b²=a². .......1

b²=a²/444

According to thorem if one no divides a² then it also divides a

→ a is also divided by 444

a/444

a=444c for some int c

squaring both sides

a²=(444)²c²

444b²=(444)²c². {using eq (1)}

b²=444c²

c²=b²/444

Again according to that thm. if one no divides b² then it also divides b

therefore 444 divides both a and b

but a and b are co primes therefore our supposition is wrong as they cannot have other factor than 1

there fore√444 is irrational

Your ans buddy √444 is not a rational number

If you want to pass in exam or whatever you are giving then mark me as brainliest the guy who said it is rational is completely a wrong answer

Dude and you can ask anyone he will also say √444 is irrational it is a concept of 9th class and 10th class you should learn both these classes this guy is fooling you
