Hey mate ,

A group of 3 numbers are called Pythagorean Triplets only if the sum of square of 2 smaller number is equal to the square of largest number .

In 5,7,9

 {9}^{2}  =  {5}^{2}  +  {7}^{2}

81 = 25 + 49

81 = 81

Thus , L.H.S. = R.H.S.
