     x + y = 15

or, x = 15 - y

equation 2

       (10y + x) - 27= 10x + y

10y - y +x - 10x = 27

9y - 9x = 27

(y - x) = 27/9 = 3

subustuting the value of x of eqn 1 in eqn 2,

y - (15 - y) = 3

y- 15 + y = 3

2y = 18

y = 9

Subustuting value of y in equation 1

x + y = 15

x = 15 - 9

x = 6

:- The original number is 10x + y = 10*6 + 9 = 69.

Checking,

putting value of x and y in equation 1 and 2

x + y = 15

6 + 9 = 15
