10-6=4

14-10=4

18-14=4

Common difference is same in

all cases.

Therefore, it is in AP

a1, a2, a3, a4, .....

[if the above sequence is an AP, the a2 - a1 = a3 - a2]

a2 - a1 = a3 - a2

10 - 6 = 18 - 14

4 = 4

LHS = RHS

The above sequence is an AP.
