I'll explain it to you.

An Element is a single pure substance made of only one type of atom.

Compound is a homogenous entity made up of two or more atoms which form a chemical bond.

However, a mixture is an entity having variable composition and the atoms are not bonded chemically together.

Obviously in coffee the atoms are not bonded together chemically, and is definitely not a single pure substance; hence we conclude it is a mixture. :)

Answer:

It is an Element and in detail it is a mixture because coffee is made with many other elements such as water , sugar , coffee beans / powder.

Hence, it is a Homogenous mixture.
