Answer:

Participation in competitive academic activities helps students develop performance under pressure.

Explanation:

Competitive academic activities help students get comfortable coping with pressure of deadlines. Students can become adept at focusing, prioritizing and participating with an internal sense of control and concentration. That sense of internal control keeps the feelings of "panic" at bay and helps a person to make important choices and adjustments. I HOPE THIS IS HELP FOR YOU. PLZ MARK ME BRAINLYST.

Answer:

Everyone will support the statement, But I'll go against it, :-)

Competition isn't needed in schools. Competition can be a great thing in sports and other activities. However, when it comes to school, it's not the time or place to be competitive. Competition is not needed in schools because students learn at their own pace, stress levels run higher, and not everyone is the competitive type.

Every student should be entitled to work at different levels or paces. Competition distracts students from doing their best on assignments and papers, therefore some students might have worse grades than usual. It makes them rush and forget about the learning experience from school, instead of who can be the best student. This means students needing to work through school slower than others will have a hard time. In a competitive environment, stress can run higher than a non-competitive school.

Stress induces when there's more competition with academics. There is a frequent amount of kids already have a rough time at school mentally and socially. When everyone is racing to work their hardest, students may have worse experiences there or not feel motivated to go to school. People will not feel as well because they're not taking care of their mental happiness at home and at school. To have to leave home seven hours a day, come back and do homework, and be forced to work harder than normal, is a lot of time and responsibilities.

Just like every school has different learning methods, so do children. Not every student there will be competitive or feel like they must strive to be the best. While competition is important, it definitely isn't needed in a learning environment.
