According to 3rd law of motion, action and reaction are opposite and of equal magnitude.
But action and reaction forces act on different objects. Sp they will not cancel each other.
For example, When you walk:
Action: You push the GROUND backward
Reaction: Ground pushes YOU forward
Action is acting on ground whereas reaction is acting on you.
