Is adding water to the acid while diluting sulphuric acid correct? Explain why

Answer: When we will add water to acid so much heat will be released that the solution May boil very violently, splashing concentrated acid out of the container and all this will turn the reaction to exothermic one. So, it is recommended that the acid should be added to water
