Air is homologous(sort of). Everything in the air shares one property. Invisibility.

Air refers to anything that makes up part of whatever you typically breathe in from the atmosphere, which is all types of things, but air didn’t compose of some things a long time ago.

But anyway, air is homogeneous because although it has various gases; hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen and helium including what humans put in the atmosphere, heterogeneous mixtures have to have noticeable parts. You have to be able to see them.
