Answer:

No. After Bsc in radiology you can't get Doctor Degree. It is bachelor degree in Radiology. After Bsc degree You will be called radiographer or radiation technologist not radiologist. There Is a lot of difference in between them. A Radiologist do USG, analyse the report of CT and MRI, perform CT/USG guided biopsy while a radiographer operate sophisticated medical equipments like X-ray CT and MRI machine. They are medical technologists and serve as very important part in healthcare system.

After all Bsc radiography from good institute also have good future in present days.

Explanation:

BSc in Radiography is a 3 year technical course after class 12. It is a graduation course and after completing candidates take up jobs in operating machines used in radiology and imaging. They know basics of human body parts but will not do any reporting. Experienced radiographers can tell if a case is emergency or not after seeing the images and inform the radiologist doctor that a particular case needs to be reported urgently but they cannot report themselves. The are not trained to be doctors. Radiographers and technologists are the back bone of machine operations and have a lot of responsibility.

A radiologist doctor does post graduation after MBBS for 2 or 3 years and then can call themselves a specialist in radiology. The can give reports and take medical decisions for and recommend further clinical treatment. Sometimes the radiologist is required to discuss particular imaging protocols with the radiographer or technologist to get best results during an imaging study.
